For doing a fantastic job portraying GOP vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin on Saturday Night Live, comedian Tina Fey won an Emmy as a guest actress in a comedy category.
This is the fifth category win for Fey, who snagged the same honor in previous wins: writing variety (SNL, 2002); producing comedy (30 Rock, 2007, 2008); writing comedy (30 Rock, 2008); and lead actress comedy (30 Rock, 2008).
She was given the award during the Creative Arts Primetime Emmys, which honors technical achievements among others.
This honor puts the talented actress in contention for the 61st Annual Primetime Emmy Awards on Sept. 20.
