Colts vs. Jets in 2010 AFC championship game

The Indianapolis Colts will play against the New York Jets in the AFC championship.

It will be the Colts and Jets’ second meeting in four weeks.  The winner will go to the Super Bowl XLIV in Miami Gardens, Florida.

If the Colts will win, it will mark their second appearance in the Super Bowl in four years.

But the Jets, the NFL’s top defensive team with the best rushing attack, will try to derail the Colts and take that opportunity to play in the Super Bowl themselves.

Colts head coach Jim Caldwell said it will be a little different this time around for both teams.

“Everything changes, it really does,” Caldwell said. “I think teams get better and better.  Hopefully, we’re a little bit better team than we were at that time, and I don’t have any question in my mind that they are a better football team than they were.”

The AFC Championship Game will be a battle of coaches as Caldwell and Jets head coach Rex Ryan are considered the most successful rookie head coaches in the history of the NFL.

UPDATE: Colts vs. Jets Final Score: Indianapolis Colts 30, New York Jets 17
