‘Pants on the ground’ audition (video) in Atlanta crack up American Idol judges

“Pants on the ground/Pants on the ground/Lookin’ like a fool with your pants on the ground…”

Those are the exact lyrics of the original song written and performed by 62-year-old “General” Larry Platt for his audition in American Idol‘s ninth season in Atlanta, Georgia.

Local resident Platt, is more than twice over the Idol age limit but he sure made an impact.

Platt’s song-and-dance routine put a smile on all four Idol judges’ faces.

“I have a horrible feeling that song could be a hit,” Simon Cowell said.
