Jennifer Lopez changes name from J.Lo to Lola

After a two-year hiatus, Jennifer Lopez is back with a new song, Fresh Out the Oven, produced by Pharrell and featuring Pitbull.

It looks like Lopez is dropping the name J.Lo and has replaced it with Lola.  The singer’s promotional website includes the tagline “Who is Lola?” and with the following introductory message on screen:

“She was mysterious… She was like someone I’d never met.  She appeared, and then she was gone.  Lola has reinvented sexy.  The word sexy can now be replaced with Lola!”

The latest album doesn’t have a title yet and no release date has been announced.
