IPhone OS 3.1.3 features improve battery life

Apple Inc. has just released an operating system update to the iPhone and iPod Touch.

The iPhone OS 3.1.3 is available for download and contains bug fixes and improvements.

Some of the iPhone 3.1.3 features include:

• Improved accuracy of battery level on iPhone 3GS
• Resolved issue where third-party apps occasionally do not launch
• Fixed bug that caused an app to crash when using the Japanese Kana keyboard

All unlocked and jailbroken devices will have to wait for the iPhone Dev team to give a signal that it’s safe to upgrade.
