Former tennis-champion Boris Becker admitted that his love child was “made” on the stairs of the famous London restaurant Nobu not in the cupboard.
It has been widely reported that Becker, now 41, had sex with model Angela Ermakova in the broom cupboard at the Japanese restaurant Nobu in 1999. The quick encounter produced a love-child, Anna, and led to his £20million divorce from his wife Barbara Feltus.
Becker is expecting his fourth child with his new wife Sharley Kerssenberg.
Becker told Piers Morgan on ITV1’s Lifestories program that it actually happened on the stairs between the bathrooms and there was no broom cupboard.
He told Morgan of his guilt and shame over the brief encounter which happened after he retired from Wimbledon in 1999. It cost him his marriage and his private life.
However, he insisted that having Anna is not a mistake. He said that Anna is a beautiful daughter. He loves her so much and he would not want to miss a minute with her.
Becker also added that it took him three years to get the courage to return to Nobu.
